Let Me Introduce Myself
Hi, my name is Angelique. My family is from the beautiful Caribbean island St. Kitts and Nevis. Both of my parents were born and lived there before moving to America and having me.

I was born on February 11th in The Bronx and I’ve lived here for most of my life besides my time in college. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management (BSBM) in 2017.

YouTube
While I was in school, I had a YouTube channel for a hot minute, lol. It blessed me with many opportunities to work with brands like Shea Moisture and gave me a greater understanding of my skills and interests.
Here's one of my YouTube videos I made 4years ago. #tbt to when I had braces.
After graduating, I dealt with post-graduation depression and for a while I struggled mentally, emotionally and physically. As a result, it got harder and harder to make content, be social and interact in my everyday life.
I Disappeared
During my time alone, I worked on myself. I started off small by watching self-development videos in bed. From there, I read books and then I moved onto programs, which lead to action. When I talk about it now, it sounds more straightforward and easier than it was. I would start then stop, have a good day, then bad weeks. It was and still is a path of twists and turns, but I keep going because the life I want requires me to. Diving into self-development and self-care pulled me out of my crippling depressive states.
"...pain and struggle are part of the experience of life. They make blessings and successes more valuable and worthwhile."
Now, I have a clear vision of what I want for my life, I’m able to bounce back quicker from set backs, I’m more in touch with my emotions and I am able to clearly express those feelings. I have a better relationship with God, and most importantly, I love myself. In addition, I’ve gained new confidence in my journey because I understand pain and struggle are part of the experience of life. They make blessings and successes more valuable and worthwhile. I say this for the person or people who need a lil push to keep going. Each day is a new opportunity to be better, do better and reintroduce yourself to the world!
So after a long absence from social media and transitioning from college to adulthood, let me reintroduce myself. My name is Angelique. I am a beautiful, young black woman that is constantly growing and changing as I prepare for every time I level up and move closer towards my dream life. I’m ready to take the world by storm through my personal journey one step at a time. Welcome to my blog!

Hi Angelique!
I've also been on quite a self development journey and sometimes it always seems like I'm missing something. From this blog I've learned that I'm missing a vision, a CLEAR vision.
