It's ya girl, Angelique and I'm a multidimensional woman who is always growing, learning and thriving. I was born and raised in The Bronx and being black and a woman has come with double the adversity in this society. The world already created a place for me before I was born. It tried to tell me in various ways that who I am, where I’m from, and how I look is not worthy. Unfortunately, through people, experiences and programming, I believed things about myself that weren’t true. I started to think I wasn’t good enough. 

 

Not good enough to desire more or better for myself.

After graduating college, I noticed how some people I was around were too comfortable staying stagnant and that didn’t sit right with me. It began to feel like the more I was in environments with people or experiences that lacked growth, the louder my desires for more became.

 

Life happened and I stopped feeling bad for wanting my version of life that filled me and surrounded me with peace. I stopped relying on a certain thing to happen or for me to reach a higher level in life to start living the way I want to.

I love looking and feeling beautiful: treating myself to high-quality self-care routines and products. I’m also dynamic, so I have fun tapping into different looks and aesthetics. I seek adventure and enjoy living out unforgettable moments. However, I know I cannot live good, look good, and/or feel good if I’m not good (mentally & physically). That's why I'm committed to being the best version of me for me (first) through personal growth. This is where the concept of look, live, be was born.
